Senior Sales Manager Benelux

Rotterdam based with hybrid working

Permanent role, full time - 37.5 hours per week

Basic salary in the region of EUR60-75k depending on experience (negotiable) + sales incentive plan + car allowance + excellent benefits package including private medical insurance and pension scheme.

As Senior Sales Manager Benelux, you will report to the Senior Sales Manager EEA with the primary purpose of finding and attracting new profitable business across the Benelux region.

Role Responsibility

  • Pro-actively seek out new business and renewal opportunities in the Benelux portfolio / region and work towards achieving agreed business targets. Drive performance and delivery against financial targets for Global Corporate and SME segment while demonstrating sales quality and compliance requirements
  • Ensure that all sales activities are completed in a compliant way, ensuring that the relevant governing bodies’ protocols are fulfilled
  • Work as part of an effective global sales team to drive consistency across the  sales function
  • As a member of the sales leadership team, make a quantifiable contribution to the overall achievement of commercial and other goals of Bupa Global
  • Own Benelux sales performance, driving for sustainable value creating growth 
  • Work closely with Sales Directors in BG and internal departments to develop opportunities and ensure optimum service
  • Build up and maintain distribution network of brokers and consultants
  • Increase quote activity
  • Regularly attend networking events
  • Keep abreast of all developments in the markets
  • Contribute to new products, marketing materials and other business initiatives
  • Review our new business proposition regularly
  • Accurate CRM (SFDC) management

The Ideal Candidate

  • Business fluency in Dutch is an essential criteria for this role
  • Sales background in the global health insurance market, or relevant transferable skills and knowledge from other financial services industries such as Life Insurance, Retail, Commercial or Investment Banking and Wealth Management.
  • Previous experience in a service industry of handling large, blue chip accounts and selling at Senior/Board Level.
  • Demonstrated track record in achieving new business targets and continually demonstrating application in this key area.
  • Business/commercial acumen on pricing/contract issues.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Feeling comfortable in an international environment
