Business Development Consultant
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- Generate quotes and proposals for potential SME/corporate clients that feed-in from our existing brokers
- To lead the brand and group product suite promotion to the broker and agent market in Singapore and wider SEA region where applicable.
- To provide product training and support both on Ad Hoc as well as structured (quarterly) basis.
- To produce individual insurance quotations within set time frames
- To respond to telephone and email enquiries from our intermediary network and support the closing of sales
- Make outbound calls to agents and brokers to generate sales opportunities and further increase the conversation of sales
- To work with the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate must have experience in a sales environment and preferably worked in the insurance industry, although not essential any previous experience of a complex and multi skilled customer facing roles within a contact centre setting is ideal
An ability to multi-task under pressure, has a high standard of communication skills, sales skills and problem solving.
A track record of achieving and exceeding productivity and quality targets
Highly customer focussed
Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
